Welcome to Porterbrook: Omaha
The Porterbrook content is delivered through cohort-based distance learning with an introductory seminar and 3 seminars throughout the year. It will require about 5 hours of study each week, along with a weekly cohort meeting for discussion.
Students must prepare assignments for each seminar, either in the form of a short presentation or a written assignment. The aim is to help students keep on track, apply their learning to their context, and learn from other students who are applying the material to their church and context.
We require each student to be part of a cohort from his or her church or geographical area. If no cohort exists in your area, you must find 3 other potential students to form a full cohort before you will be accepted into the program.
