bd 2 context

This module works through principles of giving a talk, leading a Bible study and communicating through storytelling.

In this module you will look at the principles of giving a talk. Drawing on the 3 core aspects of making it clear, real and felt, the first 3 units look at 3 good examples of these aspects – namely John Stott, Tim Keller and C. J. Mahaney. The module then turns to examine how to prepare for and lead an interactive Bible Study. Finally you will work through the idea of 'storytelling', how to prepare and teach the Bible through storytelling. This module is rounded off by looking at the importance of community in the learning process.
