Porterbrook Network strives to provide biblical, missional training set in the context of day-to-day life for the purpose of equipping the participant for everyday Gospel ministry.
Through Porterbrook Learning and Porterbrook Seminary, the Porterbrook Network makes biblical training affordable and accessible to believers in every walk and circumstance of life all across the globe.
Here are a few of the things Porterbrook students are saying…
"It's helped us NARROW the GAP between what we say we believe and how we live. Compared to a year ago, I can see how I've come to view the world differently, to ask how every aspect of my life fits into God's mission to save people."
- Lucy M, Sheffield, England
“PORTERBROOK HAS TOTALLY CHANGED MY LIFE (through the gospel teaching it provides). It has been such a blessing to me in regards to how I help others view the gospel in their own lives as well as how I view it in mine. I have only been a part of the training for 4 months, but it has been such a wonderful 4 months! I went in expecting to learn how to counsel others, and ended up being deeply convicted of my own need for the gospel to infiltrate all areas of my life. And somehow through all that I still feel like I am more equipped to share and help others through their struggles :) Know that your ministry is a blessing to so many people, and is having a huge impact on our church Body.”
- Crystal S., Louisville, Kentucky.
“Porterbrook is a brilliant course that covers a wide variety of
subjects. It is well written and informative. Personally for me the
Bible and Doctrine course has been the biggest headache but most
helpful. I did four years at university but never was taught how to
interpret the Bible expositionally looking at authorial intent and
context. Its really GIVEN ME TOOLS to help me in my preaching and my
private quiet times when interpreting the Bible. I enjoyed the whole
thing because the course is not just theory but practical as well. “
- A Constable, Pastoral assistant, Porterbrook: Scotland
“The foundation year has proved to be an excellent resource, challenge and encouragement. As I move into a leadership position in my church I want to be EQUIPPED to LEAD WISELY, MISSIONALY, and in a GODLY WAY”
- Andrew S., Cambridge, England
